The Hinch Distillery is located just south of Belfast, Northern Ireland in the grounds of the beautiful Killaney Estate. The distillery takes its name from the nearby town of Ballynahinch, whose name in Irish translates as ‘town of the island’. Within the distillery design Hinch have incorporated many unique elements allowing them to validate their ‘craft’ credentials and also position themselves as key innovators within the Irish whiskey category. The marriage of triple distillation and a maturation process that captures the unique union of spirit and wood imparts a flavour like no other in their whiskies. The Hinch Distillery Small Batch Bourbon Cask is a classic blend using only the finest grain and single malt whiskies, matured in the finest ex Bourbon oak casks and paired together in small batches to give a classic smooth Irish Whiskey.
