~~~ UPDADTED 28th MARCH ~~~
Although the recent government announcement that 'off licences' are included on the list of essential business and could remain open, we have decided to keep our retail premises closed to the general public until further notice. It is the safest option and one which I feels help to reinforce the “Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives” message.
Thankfully, you can still shop online from the comfort of your own home. Our online store will remain open and we will keep delivering all orders to the best of our ability for as long as our customers need us.
The support we have received from our nation-wide customers has been overwhelming and I would like to say a big heartfelt thank-you to everyone for their support and understanding about delivery schedules, vintage changes and substitutions during this challenging period.
Even though we are now faced with a reduced delivery schedule please be rest assured I am working tirelessly to ensure our customers are not left without wine.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Stay Safe.
***UPDATED 24th MARCH***
Following the announcement by the Prime Minster on Monday 23rd March we want to assure all our customers that we remain open for online business and are committed to fulfilling all our orders in a timely fashion.
Our supplier warehouses remain operational and we have no indication yet that this situation will change in the short term.
If anyone has any concerns prior to placing an order please get in touch so we can allay any fears and advise accordingly the up-to-date situation.
We are committed to fulfilling all orders to the best of our ability and have introduced measures to ensure we are doing our utmost to safeguard our customers and those that work alongside us during this pandemic.
Our couriers 'APC' are now actively operating a 'no touch practice' in their efforts to implement responsible social distancing. Upon delivery of orders, you will now be asked for your name as normal and the drivers will input 'CV' where a signature would normally show.
Moving forward we would kindly request that where possible if all our customers can provide a 'leave safe' instruction when placing orders online to aid our couriers in their efforts to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Should you have any questions or require help with any matter please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We are all in this together, and we will do our utmost to go above and beyond to ensure we all come through this uniquely challenging situation.
Thank you for your continued support and please stay safe!
Andy Saxon
