Domaine de la Solitude Côtes du Rhône Rouge 2022
Operating at the cutting edge of wine technology, the Domaine de la Solitutude’s wines are renowned for their characteristic elegance whilst expressing the true origins of their terroir. The vineyards for this Côtes du Rhône red wine are situated mainly in Gard, with over 50% of the grapes coming from Côtes du Rhône Villages vineyards. A blend of Grenache (50%), Syrah (40%) and Mourvèdre (10%) the wine was matured in concrete tank (100%), as per the traditional vinification of the Southern Rhône Valley. An enticing nose of concentrated, ripe red berry fruits, enhanced by subtle notes of black pepper and spice. Supple and rounded on the palate, supported by a delicate tannic structure.
