Forest Distillery London Dry Gin
The multiple award-winning Forest London Dry Gin is distilled by the Bond family in the heart of the Macclesfield Forest. Made in batches of just 85 bottles at a time, each bottle contains only the finest botanicals and water from the distillery's own spring. Each bottle contains a mixture of sourced organic juniper berries, organic coriander seeds, vanilla pods and angelica root, alongside locally foraged botanicals including wild Bilberries, Raspberries and Blackberries, Peak District moss, ferns and a sprinkling of wild flowers, spruces and pine. These ingredients are ground by hand using a pestle and mortar, before being distilled. The alcohol vapour and the flavoursome oils from the botanicals reach the copper condenser, where they are immediately cooled. This fragrant spirit is then blended with spring water to create unfiltered London Dry Gin of the very highest quality. Beautifully presented in a unique, decorative porcelain bottle, the Forest Gin is fresh and green to the nose with forest pine notes. The palate delivers an initial hit of juniper, with fresh ferns and sweet berries leading into a long, deep and earthy finish from the Peak District moss.
