Le Clos du Beau-Père Pomerol 2016
Le Clos du Beau-Père has been under the ownership of Jean-Luc Thunevin (Château Valandraud, Saint Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé) since 2006. Made from Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and then malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aged for 18 months in new French oak Clos du Beau-Père is a modern-style Pomerol, supple with a velvety texture.
