Bodegas Salentein 'Elevado' Tinto 2024
The Bodegas Salentein 'Elevado' Tinto is ared wine blend of Syrah (60%) and Malbec (40%) grapes grown on vineyards in the Tulum Valley subregion of San Juan within the large region of Cuyo, at an average altitude of 650 metres above sea level. At the winery the Syrah and Malbec varieties were fermented separately and kept separately, in contact with French oak for four months, during which time they underwent malolactic conversion, which rounded out the palate. Final blending and filtering were carried out prior to bottling. The final wine is a juicy and balanced blend of Syrah and Malbec with delicious notes of ripe blueberries and raspberries complemented by smoky, spicy hints on the long finish.
