South of France

The south of France provides a happy hunting ground for enthusiastic wine drinkers who seek originality, quality and good value in their wine selections. The area is large and encompasses four wine producing regions, from the Spanish border in the southwest to Provence and the Island of Corsica on the Italian frontier.

Over the past decade this area of France has witnessed a revolution in quality wine production with the arrival of new forward thinking wine-growers introducing new grape varieties, reducing yields, employing modern techniques and growing methods all of which has gone to improve the wines beyond recognition.
