Chateau Ste. Michelle pioneered vinifera grape growing in Washington State and since 1967 has been producing top class European varietal wines under the Chateau Ste. Michelle label.
In 2018 Chateau Ste. Michelle celebrated more than 50 years of winemaking and during this time they have combined Old World winemaking traditions with New World innovation. Today, Chateau Ste. Michelle is one of the few premium wineries in the world with two state-of-the-art wineries, one for red wine production and one for white wines. The whites are made at the Chateau in Woodinville, while the reds are made at the Canoe Ridge Estate winery in Eastern Washington.
