Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 2023
The Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is an organic expression of the classic aromatic Marlborough style of Sauvignon Blanc. All grapes are hand-picked from the estate's own vineyards and then whole bunch pressed, before fermentation and 2-3 months ageing in stainless steel tanks. A portion of the wine is fermented using indigenous yeast and it is bottled without fining. Pale straw in colour the Dog Point Sauvignon is a vibrant, perfumed example characterised by freshly squeezed citrus and dried herbs. The wines juicy palate and fresh acidity up front is followed by a soft, round texture.
