Domaine Labruyère | Moulin-à-Vent
Domaine Labruyère is one of the leaders of the Beaujolais region. It is located in the heart of the Moulin-a-Vent appellation and produces some of the most extraordinary Gamay wines in the world.
Domaine Labruyère is one of the oldest wineries in the Moulin-a-Vent Appellation. It was set up in 1850 by Jean-Marie Labruyere, who bought 10 hectares of well-located vineyards. Since then, several generations of the Labruyère family have been running the estate and have acquired the famous “Clos du Moulin-a-Vent”, a unique monopole in the appellation, and Located right by the iconic windmill.
In 2008, Edouard Labruyère took over responsability for the Domaine, convinced that all plots are located on the best terroirs of the region. He gave Domaine Labruyère a new dynamic, and today it is considered at the forefront of Beaujolais winemaking.
