Elio Grasso | Monforte d'Alba, Italy
The Elio Grasso Estate, located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, has 42 hectares of land of which 24 hectares are forests and meadows that surround the 18 hectares of vineyards, located within the World Heritage site.
Elio Grasso is a name in Piedmont that sets the pulse racing. Not only does the estate boast Barolo’s most breath-taking vineyards, but this is a winery that consistently impresses with its entire array of wines. Its famous Ginestra crus are truly the stuff of legend. With each passing year, winemaker Gianluca Grasso raises the bar, taking this iconic estate to greater heights than ever before. This is true of his towering Barolos, as well as the excellent Barbera and Dolcetto wines produced.
These are classic, powerful wines that vividly express both variety and site. The quality of Grasso’s Dolcetto and Barbera has exploded in recent years, following the same upward trajectory as the estates Barolo. And they now enjoy a cult following of their own.
Elio Grasso’s wines are highly sought-after the world over and sell out very quickly. If you are interested in securing an allocation of these wines we recommend you contact us for more information. They are worth every penny!
