Ultimate Provence Rosé Côtes de Provence | Magnum (150cl)

The Ultimate Provence Rosé is a delicate, pale pink rosé made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache Noir, Syrah and Vermentino grapes. The most beautiful Cinsault is grown on hillsides to ensure maximum exposure to the sun. Nearby and slightly lower down, is a great plot of Vermentino, known locally as Rolle, a variety known for its fruity notes of citrus and pear. ‘La Grande Pièce’ is a magnificent parcel on a plateau entirely devoted to Syrah and finally, the ‘Perrono’ plot, which is named after the family that planted the first vines on the property, young white and black Grenache vines have joined the magnificent Syrah already established there. The vineyards are ploughed using horses to reduce soil impaction and the grapes are harvested at night by machine to retain freshness. The vineyards are sustainably cultivated and are certified as ‘Bee Friendly’. At the winery, after fermentation there is short ageing on the lees before final blending and bottling resulting in a fresh and fruity contemporary rosé style. Ultimate Provence is a vibrant pale pink with a delicate coppery tone, evoking aromas of fresh lemon, exotic fruit and delicate floral nuances. On the palate, this rosé is bursting with ripe red fruit and a refreshing citrus flavour with a subtle note of white pepper spice on the finish.
