The Japanese Bitters Shiso is produced with only the finest Shiso of the highest quality sourced from the Chiba prefecture. An extract of the Perilla frutescens, which belongs to the mint-family, the Japanese Bitters Shiso is mint-like with a faint aroma of cinnamon and captures the herbs particularly grassy flavour. For use, it is recommended to add 1 to 2 drops in the cocktail, mix and then add another drop as a top. The fragrance is long lasting and remains throughout adding richness to a variety of cocktails.
