Hic! Honey

Our Honey Bees live on the wonderful Ledston Estate that comprises approximately 1,235 hectares (3,050 acres) of mixed farmland, woodland, parkland, historic gardens and wetlands; providing a superb array of foraging opportunities for our bees. The Grade 1 Listed Ledston Hall is the principal building on the Estate and provides a wonderful backdrop to our apiaries. Our honey is fresh from the hive - 100% natural, pure, raw honey - nothing added and nothing taken out. Each of our hives are harvested individually with care and the welfare of our bees first and foremost.

In addition to our Natural Honey Michelle also utilises the bees wax to craft a number of other Bee related products.

Beeswax Wraps: Michelle makes here own 100% cotton, natural beeswax wraps, which are the perfect sustainable alternative to tinfoil and cling-film.

Beeswax Candles: Michelle also makes here own 100% natural beeswax candles in a range of styles and designs. Beeswax candles have a completely clean, non-toxic burn and produce negative ions which help neutralise pollutants in the air. Burning natural Beeswax candles also helps eliminate dust, odours and mold in the atmosphere, easing allergy and asthma symptoms and improving breathing for anyone nearby.

Beeswax Skin Balms & Lip Balms: These are handmade here in Ledston using only beautiful healing beeswax a carrier oil and essential oils. Michelle makes a Peppermint Lip Balm and a Lavender Lip Balm, both perfect rescue remedies for dry, sore or cracked lips. In addition she makes a range of Beeswax skin balms that include Rosemary & Lavender; Rose Geranium & Lavender; Lemongrass & Lavender; Peppermint; Lavender.
