Antinori's Tormaresca Torcicoda Primitivo del Salento was the first Apulian wine that got into Wine Spectator's Top 100. Matured for approximately 18 months before bottling, Torcicoda is an intense ruby red colour. On the nose, dominant notes of red fruit, black cherries, and plums merge with spicy sensations of liquorice, vanilla, and tobacco. Its entry on the palate is soft and generous with good structure sustained by an elegant tannic texture.
