Musella Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso 2021
Musella's Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso is a red wine blend of Corvina (85%), Rondinella (10%) and Barbera (5%) grapes, grown in the Veneto region northeast of Verona, in the hill that divides Montorio from the Valle d’Illasi. This red wine is "RIPASSED" on the not completely pressed skins of the Musella Valpolicella Amarone and then matured for 12 months in French oak. Spiced black cherries mix with shavings of cedar, clove and rosemary. It possesses incredible energy with a solid core of ultra-ripe wildberry fruits and bitter cocoa that infuses the palate toward the close. There is tart blackberry intensity that leaves the mouth-watering for more. Full throttle yet beautifully balanced!
