Château Lagrange
Château Lagrange was purchased in 1953 by Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix from Mr. Pecresse, also owner of Château Trotanoy and is located on the northern edge of the famous plateau of Pomerol, adjacent to illustrious neighbours. The vineyard, planted on heavy soils and clay, is worked in a traditional way with great attention (plowing of soil, thinning and stripping). After hand picking for a few hours, the musts ferment in cement vats. The aging continues in oak barrels. The wine of Château Lagrange, charming from its youth, mixes the roundness and the generosity, the suppleness and the fruit, in a very beautiful expression of the grounds of Pomerol.
