Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Coal Ila Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice is a wood finished Coal Ila 2009 that was initially matured in a refill bourbon barrel before being finished in an ex-Sassicaia wine cask for two years. Bottled in November 2022, this 13 Year Old Coal Ila expression displays aromas of dried figs, cured meats and cinnamon spice. Redcurrant flavours give way to black pepper and lemon peel. A medium finish with pepper, forest fruits and smoke throughout the palate and lingering on to the finish. 3550 Bottles.
