Sebastiani | Sonoma County

Sebastiani is one of the longest-established wineries in California. It was founded in 1904, and survived both Prohibition and the Great Depression to remain at the forefront of Sonoma County winemaking. A new winery was constructed a few years ago, allowing gentler fruit handling. Since then, a change in ownership has brought in yet further investment. Californian native David Nakaji has been the winemaker since 2016, bringing his intimate knowledge of the region and how best to express it in the bottle, with clarity of fruit, generosity of structure and sensitive use of oak.
