Swartland Winery | Malmesbury
Swartland Winery is situated north of Cape Town, near the town of Malmesbury in South Africa's coastal wine region. Established in 1948, Swartland Winery started with just 15 members and the chairman of the newly-formed co-operative donated 4 hectares of his own farm in Doornkuil to be used for developing the winery. Today Swartland Winery is one of the leading wineries in South Africa producing iconic and award winning wines, with member farms extending over a 22km radius in the hills surrounding Malmesbury and covering over 3500 hectares.
