Vini Noüe-Marinič | Goriška Brda
Vini Noüe-Marinič, located in the Goriška Brda region of Slovenia, close to the Italian border, is led by Charles-Louis de Noüe and partner Alis Marinič. The de Noüe family has a long winemaking tradition in Burgundy in France and Charles-Louis is the grandson of Christian Jacques de Clay de Nell and member of the family that owns the legendary Domaine Leflaive.
His passion for the most authentic and prestigious terroirs for growing wine - with a preference for white wine - led him to the Goriška Brda region in Slovenia, where he and Slovenian partner Alis Marinič brought some abandoned vineyards back into production. The estate practices organic, chemical-free viticulture and is transitioning to biodynamics. With 140 hectares of vines, their vineyards are classified by a historical cru system. The estate produces wines under three brands: Domaine Vicomte de Noüe-Marinič, Erigone, and Marinič.
