Château de Campuget '1753' Viognier 2018
The Château de Campuget '1753' Viognier is a beautifully balanced and aromatic wine with a nectarine, ginger and honeysuckle character leading on to a full, textured and creamy finish. Beautifully packaged and incorporating a 'Vinolok' glass stopper this white wine is vinified in the traditional manner, with a proportion of the wine matured in tank with the remainder matured in used oak for a period of three months prior to the final blend. On the nose the 1753 Viognier displays hints of orange marmalade, apricot and ripe tropical fruits. Precise, crisp and balanced on the palate, with a roundness of generously structured fruit and a long, elegant finish. Serve chilled as an apéritif, or to accompany smoked fish and spicy dishes. Perfect with Asian or Indian inspired cuisine.
