Château Montifaud Napoléon Cognac Petite Champagne
The Château Montifaud 'Napoléon' Petite Champagne Cognac is a high-quality, aged Cognac that embodies the spirit of luxury and sophistication. Named after the legendary French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, Napoléon Cognac's are an unofficial age classification of Cognac comparable to an XO quality, which means the youngest eau-de-vie in the blend needs to have aged for at least 10 years in oak barrels. The Montifaud Napoléon sits between their VSOP and XO expressions and is an 18 year old blend of more than 10 different cognacs. This Napoléon cognac is typical of the Montifaud style typified by its amazing roundness and its sweetness with light notes of lime tree, dried flowers, plum and dried fruits. Very present vanilla, suppleness and roundness on the palate with the 'rancio' appearing in final notes. This Cognac is also available in a 20cl bottle which makes for a great gift / stocking filler!
