Château Maris La Touge 2019
Château Maris La Touge is a medium bodied red wine made with Syrah, Grenache and Carignan grapes grown in the Minervois cru of La Livinière. The Château Maris biodynamic philosophy follows a natural winemaking process with minimal intervention. Vinification took place in concrete fermenter and the wine was aged for 16 months in a combination of concrete tanks and eggs before being bottled. La Touge is very expressive on the nose with smoky and dark fruit (black currant; blackberry) notes. Inky purple in the glass the palate displays full-bodied richness, beautifully integrated acidity, juicy ripe tannins and no hard edges.
