The Bee-Side Grenache IGP Côtes Catalanes 2017
The Bee-Side Grenache is the second label from Domaine of the Bee and is made from 100% Grenache. Most of the grapes come from the "Bee's" own vineyards but some grapes are sourced from the vines of Jean-Marc Lafage. A medium bodied red wine that is a wonderful cherry red in colour. The nose displays cherry and raspberry "fruit compote" notes with a touch of local herbs and a hint of oak from its year in barrel. The palate is bursting with expressive red fruits, checked with a distinct mineral freshness, rounded and smooth tannins and notes of fennel that balance the wine perfectly into a long finish.
