Elio Grasso Barbera d'Alba Vigna Martina 2015
As always, the Elio Grasso Barbera impresses for its sheer depth and charm. It comes from vines close to the Gavarini vineyard. Gianluca employs a very gentle use of barriques to help soften the sharp natural acidity of the Barbera. The result is pure joy. Its mouth-watering, juicy bramble fruits combine on the palate with sleek and softly spiced essence. This is a truly mesmerising Barbera; effortlessly stylish and so evocative of this special place and Grasso’s trademark finesse.
