Pierro Fire Gully Chardonnay 2023
From the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia, the Pierro 'Fire Gully' Chardonnay is made from hand picked grapes sourced from the 20-to-30 year old vines grown at the Fire Gully farm and vineyard. The grapes are cold pressed, barrel fermented in second and third fill barrels before maturation for ten months in oak with fortnightly lees stirring prior to blending and bottling. Creamy and rich on the nose with notes of lemon, red apple and pastry. The palate is full, textured and mouth filling, with fine citrus notes.
