Roc de Cambes Côtes de Bourg 2013
Roc de Cambes is a Merlot dominated red wine blend, vinified in concrete tanks before being transferred to barrels, half of them new oak, for 18 to 24 months. The flavour of the wine has the natural sweetness and silky flavour of late-picked, gently extracted grapes. "Unctuous, supple, accessible and welcoming, this is opulent and ripe, beautifully textured and rich in plump cherry fruit, complemented by sweet oak - lovely wine."

The Producer Roc de Cambes | Côtes de Bourg
Roc de Cambes is the Côtes de Bourg property of François Mitjavile (St-Emilion's Tertre Rôteboeuf) and there is certainly something reminiscent of Tertre Rôteboeuf here, albeit on a larger scale; a natural amphitheatre with a perfect aspect overlooking the Gironde.
