Umani Ronchi Pecorino Vellodoro 2022
The name of Pecorino grape variety, also known as “grape of the sheep”, is derived from the strong connection between sheep farming and agriculture. The grape variety was once a favourite snack of the sheep (“pecora” in Italian) that were often driven through vineyard lands on their way to lower pastures. Bright straw yellow colour, this Pecorino white wine presents intense aromas of fruit and flowers to the nose, with very clear mineral notes. On the palate it shows a good structure and a pleasant freshness, with ripen fruit and sapid hints.
