Domaine Claude Dugat Gevrey-Chambertin
Claude Dugat's Gevrey-Chambertin is sourced from the estates own vines located in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin. The domaine practices 'lutte-raisonée' with the vineyards continuously monitored throughout the year, tended to by hand in order to keep the amount of required treatments to a minimum. Matured in French oak (50% new) for up to 18 months this Pinot Noir shows notes of red and dark currant and sweet forest strawberries, brought forward by a quite powerful minerality, with hints of violets and peony rose. On the palate, this wine is rich, deep and balanced.
