Turley Juvenile Zinfandel 2020
The Turley Wine Cellars Juvenile Zinfandel is composed of a variety of young vines (aged from 6-25 years) that have been replanted in several of the estates old vine sites. The younger vines are tagged and picked separately to make a distinct wine. Hailing from 27 vineyards across the beautiful Golden State, Turley Juvenile is more of a clear bellwether for the 2019 vintage than any other wine Turley make. The wine is truly lovely from the very first pour, showing ripe red fruits, florals, warmed spices, and
excellent freshness. Smooth, lithe, and satisfying on the palate, with a hint of texture and supremely well-integrated tannins. Juvenile always sets the standard for classic California Zinfandel, and the 2019 is no exception.
