Bodegas Valdemar | La Rioja

Artwork by Chavolar on building at the Alto Cantabri Vineyard

In 1889, Joaquin Martínez Bujanda first began to grow grapes in the La Rioja region of Spain. Nearly 100 years later, the Bujanda family expanded their vineyards and began construction of what today is known as Bodegas Valdemar. Today, with over 125 years of winemaking experience and five generations of family at the helm, Bodegas Valdemar provides the utmost quality to each of their wines.

Unusually for Rioja, all Bodegas Valdemar wines are sourced from their very own estate vineyards - located in all three sub-regions of Rioja - giving them unrivalled control over the quality of grapes at every level. The range of wines makes the most of this consistency and flexibility, from unoaked Rioja's bursting with flavour, to dense, complex rarities.
