Château Potensac Cru Bourgeois 2010
The 2010 vintage is universally acknowledged as a modern legend in Bordeaux, defined by its immense concentration, perfect acidity, and powerful structure. Under the meticulous stewardship of the Delon family, Château Potensac harnessed these flawless growing conditions to produce a wine of extraordinary pedigree. Benefiting from the same rigorous standards applied at their flagship Saint-Julien estate, Château Léoville Las Cases, this specific release represents the absolute pinnacle of what a premier Cru Bourgeois estate can achieve. In the glass, the 2010 displays a deep ruby core. The bouquet is intensely aromatic offering notes of pure black cassis, graphite, and wild blackberry, elegantly layered with secondary hints of cedar and tobacco leaf. On the palate, the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (37%), Merlot (42%) and Cabernet Franc (21%) delivers a tightly coiled, muscular framework. The tannins are substantial yet impeccably ripe, leading to a long, mineral-driven, and exceptionally fresh finish.
