Bedrock Wine Co. The Whole Shebang Fourteenth Cuvée
The Whole Shebang Fourteenth Cuvée is a multi-vintage, multi-red wine blend, made from grapes sourced from the beautiful and diverse state of California. Predominately Zinfandel in the make-up, the composition of this mediterranean style blend also contains Carignan, Grenache, Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Barbera and Mourvèdre. The grapes are hand picked, native yeast fermented, aged in French Oak barrels (some new) and assembled into this wine with the same care and love as all the wines produced by Morgan Twain-Peterson MW at the Bedrock Wine Co. The result is a delicious, perfumed and satisfying red wine without too much pretension or marketing BS! It displays classic aromas of strawberry compôte, fresh fig, dried cranberries and spicy notes. The palate has a juicy core, refreshing acidity, well integrated tannins with a luxurious texture and generous finish. A great value Californian red wine!
