The DropWorks Funk Drop is a wildly ripe and aromatic overproof rum bottled at 63% ABV. The Funk Drop has an incredibly soft mouthfeel with a very subtle warmth despite the high ABV, thanks to the quality distillation process and narrow cut points. Offering complex notes of overripe fruits, commonly associated with Jamaican rums, this expression was designed to make ‘Daiquiris go nuclear, Hurricanes rage and Zombies come to life’ by bringing an extra layer to classic rum cocktails. Notes of toasted pineapple, orange marmalade, guava and super ripe fruits, giving you that delicious yet oily salinity that coats the mouth and invites you back for more. Funk Drop Rum has been awarded Gold in the London Spirits Competition, Silver for Taste in the CLASS Bartenders Brand Awards and Silver in its category at the Spirits Business Rum and Cachaca Masters.
