Worthy Park Rum-Bar Gold Pot-Still Jamaican Rum
The Worthy Park Estate Rum-Bar Gold is a classic, rich Jamaican rum which can be enjoyed mixed or neat. It is a blend of four aged rums distilled from Worthy Park’s own estate-grown sugar cane molasses on a Forsyth double retort copper pot still. Each rum was aged for a minimum of 4 years in once-used, ex-Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey barrels before being blended and bottled without additives, as per Jamaican Rum G.I. The nose displays sweet notes of stewed apples and banana, followed by custard and light vanilla. Fruit dominates the palate while the years spent aging in a tropical climate contribute to a long, mellow finish with vanilla and treacle. Perfect in classic cocktails such as a Mai Tai, Rum-Bar Gold is also an inviting introduction to an aged sipping rum.
