L'Atelier du Vin Bilame Classic Twin-Blade Corkscrew
The Bilame Classic Twin-Blade corkscrew is an historical part of L’Atelier du Vin’s range since 1949 (patent date). It was designed to extract and leave the cork intact, even on those bottles which may have old and fragile corks. The cork is not pierced, and thus does not crumble. The Bilame Classic bottle opener, with its subtle black finish, embodies the art of discretion. Its simple shape is typical of past wine-growing tools that served as an extension of the hand. This twin-blade corkscrew is a great classic - an authentic bottle opener made with French savoir-faire. As the legend goes, the Bilame was the favourite tool of waiters in French Bistrots.
