Azamor Alentejano Tinto 2018

Azamor is a velvety blend of Portuguese and classic varietals made exclusively from estate grown fruit and hand selected grapes grown in the Vila Viçosa region. The seven different grape varieties - Shiraz, Alicante Bouschet, Merlot, Touriga Franca , Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira/Tinta Amarela & Petit Verdot - are vinified separately and aged for seven months in three and four-year-old French and American oak barrels. The wine is then blended before ageing a further seven months prior to bottling. Beautifully aromatic with a lush, deep red fruit perfume. On the palate, the wine is well rounded with sumptuous soft fruit flavours. The finish is long, with soft, ripe tannins.
