Delaire Graff Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2020
The grapes for Delaire Graff Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve were handpicked in early hours of the morning from the Estate’s own, virus-free mountain vineyards planted in 2001. All grapes were extensively hand sorted to ensure only the best quality were used for winemaking. At the winery, the wine was produced with meticulous care and extensive hand sorting. The grapes were de-stemmed and partially crushed, a combination of punch downs and pump overs were used during fermentation and the wine was then left on the skins post fermentation for approximately 6 weeks. It was then matured in 80% new French oak for 16 months before bottling. The Delaire Graff Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve impresses with its velvety texture, exceptional complexity and remarkable power. Aromas of cassis, dark fruits and spicy notes dominate, unfolding into a layered and long-lasting finish.
