Roberto Sarotto Barbera d'Asti 2020
Roberto Sarotto's Barbera d’Asti is a wonderful, quintessential summer red. The Barbera grapes are mainly from Nizza Monferrato and are all hand-picked, then pressed and de-stalked prior to a 10-day temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel. Light to medium-bodied in style this Barbera d'Asti displays blackberry and dark cherry aromas. The palate is ripe, rounded and supple with red fruit flavours, spice and a hint of vanilla. A red wine you could serve slightly chilled in the warmer summer months.
