Querciabella Mongrana 2015

A blend of Sangiovese (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) and Merlot (25%) Querciabella's Mongrana is the quintessential expression of the colours, sights and sounds of the Maremma region: fruity and intense, fresh and embracing, the wine takes its name (and its character) from that of the noble family of knights depicted by the Italian Renaissance poet Ludovico Ariosto in his epic masterpiece Orlando Furioso.

The grapes are picked by hand and harvested based on their phenolic maturation, using small crates. In the cellar, they undergo fermentation in cement tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine undergoes élevage both in stainless steel and cement until it is blended to be bottled.

No animal products or byproducts are used in the production of this wine, making it suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
