Sesti Phenomena Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2017
Castello di Argiano is located in a unique micro-climate in the southern part of Montalcino, surrounded by forests and is where Giuseppe Sesti, alongside his daughter Elisa, produce elegant expressions of Brunello with a distinct floral note. The wines always drink beautifully on release, but, if you can resist them, they will age quite wonderfully in your cellar for a decade or more. The Sesti Phenomena Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is sourced from Sangiovese vines that are now well over 20 years old. Undergoing fifty-one months of élevage in 30-hectoliter oak botti and a further year of bottle ageing prior to release the wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined.
