Idiom 'B' Bordicon Blend 2018
The Idiom 'B' Bordicon Blend is a red wine blend of five noble grape varietals; Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Cabernet Franc (20%), Merlot (10%), Malbec (5%) and Petit Verdot (5%). The wine was matured for 14 months in 225 litre French oak barrels (45% new). This Bordeaux inspired red wine blend displays aromas of ripe red currants, tea leaf and cigar box, followed by hints of cinnamon, tobacco and trademark cassis character. On the palate there are good firm tannins with lots of restrained red and black fruit with hints of vanilla, spice and dark roasted coffee. A wine of great pedigree with a long lingering finish that will reward cellaring.
