They say there are over 10,000 grape varieties in the world. Most supermarkets only let you see about six of them. We prefer the other 9,994.

This collection is our "Cabinet of Curiosities." It is a sanctuary for the grapes that don't have their own marketing departments - the ancient indigenous vines, the local legends, and the obscure survivors that have been rescued from extinction.

Some are known by a dozen different synonyms depending on the village they are grown in; others are so rare they barely appear in the textbooks. But they all share one thing: they are here because they are delicious.
