Viñas Queirolo Intipalka Malbec 2020
Intipalka means 'valley of the sun' in Quechua, the language of the ancient Inca people. Located in an oasis that is the Valle de Ica the Queirolo family have been growing vines since 1880. The unique desert climate, with warm sunny days and cool nights, produces grapes with delicate aromas, bright acidity and a saline character imparted by the Pacific ocean just 60km away. Made from 100% Malbec this is a ripe and savoury style that combines ripe cherry and blueberry flavours with notes of liquorice and leather. Deep in colour, velvety and smooth, with Malbec's classic underlying tannins.
