Berton Vineyard Bonsai Shiraz Cabernet 2016
Grapes for the Berton Vineyard Bonsai Shiraz Cabernet are sourced from High Eden, a region of rugged beauty between Eden Valley and the Barossa Valley. After five years of heroic effort the vines still looked like rootling's so Berton started calling it the Bonsai Vineyard.
This award winning red wine blend is dominated by Shiraz (84%) with Cabernet Sauvignon (16%) making up the rest of the components. It impresses with impenetrable violet hues and delivers intense aromas of blueberry, plum, liquorice and toasty oak. Subtle fine tannins marry perfectly on the soft, elegant palate of dark cherry, leather and cigar box.
