Dolce & Gabbana e Donnafugata Rosa 2024 | Gift Boxed

Dolce & Gabbana and Donnafugata launched their collaboration in 2017 with the aim of creating a series of special wines that would combine Donnafugata’s expertise in wine with Dolce & Gabbana’s distinctive style. The result is a range of serious and collectable wines that will stand the test of time. Rosa is a Sicilian Rosato DOC wine and an original blend of two red grape varieties, among the most representative of Sicilian viticulture: Nerello Mascalese and Nocera. The Nerello Mascalese is grown on the volcanic soils of Mount Etna and the Nocera (an ancient almost forgotten variety with a prestigious past) is planted on hillside vineyards at Donnafugata's Contessa Entellina estate. Upon arrival at the winery, the hand-harvested grape clusters were transferred to a vibrating table for manual sorting, with only the perfectly intact grapes destemmed and delicately crushed. Once fermentation was completed, the Nerello Mascalese and Nocera were blended, followed by two months of ageing in stainless-steel vats and at least three months in the bottle before release. Dolce & Gabbana e Donnafugata Rosa is bright pale pink in colour and displays aromas of jasmine and rose petals, with delicate fruity notes of peach and white-fleshed fruits. The palate is fresh and minerally with great length and finesse.

Delivery Times

We aim to to have your delivery with you within 5-7 working days of receiving your order, but often it can be much sooner. If you need your order by a certain date please get in touch and we'll do our best to get it to you as required.

Vintage Availability

We endeavour to display accurate and current vintages on all our wines listed on the website; however, from time to time stocks of the vintage listed do become exhausted. If this is the case with your order we will always contact you to recommend another vintage of the same wine, if it is still available. If the vintage of a wine is important to you then please leave a note at checkout advising us of this.

Stock Availability

As we are retail stockists, selling from our Ledston shop as well as online, it makes it difficult for us to show a 'real-time' inventory of our wines and spirits online. As such, very occasionally, a wine may be out of stock that the website has allowed you to order.

To ensure a timely delivery, we are happy to substitute your order with a similar wine of equal or higher value and at no additional cost to you!

If this is not an acceptable solution please advise us in the 'Add A Comment' section at the checkout.

The Producer Donnafugata | Sicily

The Rallo family has made wine in Marsala since 1851 and their ancient cellars tunnel beneath the city. They were one of the first families to begin making high-quality table wine when sales of traditional Marsala started to decline, launching the Donnafugata label in 1983 and championing the potential of...
