Fattoria Le Pupille Morellino di Scansano 2021
The Fattoria Le Pupille Morellino di Scansano is a young, soft and fruity red wine dominated by Sangiovese (85%) with additions of Alicante (10%) and Ciliegiolo (5%). Elisabetta Geppetti's first harvest was in 1985 and since then the Morellino has always followed the winery, constantly and fully expressing and representing the territory. Brilliant red with light ruby reflections the aromas are intense with scents of red fruit, in particular blueberries and freshly picked cherry. On the palate the wine is silky, fresh, with a light aromatic persistence and perfectly balanced tannins.
