Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato 2020
First created in 2002, Il Bruciato is a red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes. Produced during one of the most difficult vintages at Guado al Tasso, the first blend to be used was that of the Bolgheri Superiore, but in the years which followed, the varietal composition has been modified and a series of vineyard plots have been identified and used exclusively for this second wine. Il Bruciato is intense ruby red in colour. The nose presents notes of red and black berry fruit which are characteristic of this vintage and capable of giving the wine an excellent concentration. Sweet spices and a hint of liquorice complete the bouquet. The palate is well structured, persistent and highly pleasurable with its fruity finish and aftertaste.
