Guado al Tasso Vermentino di Bolgheri 2017
Inspiration for Guado al Tasso's Vermentino (first produced in 1996) was a desire to reintroduce one of the indigenous varieties from this part of the Tyrrhenian coast, recognised and appreciated for its aromatic qualities. Bolgheri’s proximity to the sea and unique microclimate is particularly favourable for Vermentino production resulting in wines that display pronounced mineral notes, freshness and aromatic qualities.
Straw yellow in colour, the wine presents a range of intense and fragrant aromas which include citrus and passion fruit. The flavours on the palate are well supported by the freshness of the wine which finishes long and persistent.
